2. What data do we process?
For a pilot account, we process your name, email address, encrypted password, FVA callsign, selected avatar, flight hours and flight data supplied by the FVA Tracker. When using the forum, flight photos or contact form, we store the content you submit. A non-reversible hash of the IP address may be recorded for security and spam prevention.
3. Why do we use this data?
For account security, displaying the Pilot Roster and flight log, the live map, personal progress, community features, answering messages and protection against misuse.
4. Email and notifications
Account confirmation and password recovery are sent to the pilot concerned. Important administration notifications and contact messages arrive through the central FVA address.
5. Cookies and sharing
The website only uses necessary cookies for the secure session and language choice. FVA does not sell personal data and does not use advertising tracking.
6. Retention and your rights
Data is retained for as long as the account or community contribution is needed. You can request access, correction or deletion through the contact address. Flight data may be retained anonymously after account closure to keep historical totals reliable.
